LIBRARIES ON THE BEACH AND LIBRARIES ON THE SITE FOR CARAVANS: OLD BOOKS REUSED

It is not easy to see the border between Albir and Altea. A sign is set up to inform you about where you are. At a camping site for caravans situated at the border of Altea and Albir you find a private library for the travellers. Books must not be destroyed after having been read. The moral is: Let new
readers get access to the books. Keep the books by setting up a private library.
On the beach of Albir a small library is set up for service during summer time. Splendid policy.

SPAIN: THE CITY OF ALTEA AND THE LIBRARY

You do not travel to Altea to pay the public library a visit-I think. But I do. Unlike the majority of the tourists who have occupied the city for years to profit from the good weather, the beaches, the vin,and the spendid food (Menu del Dia), I appreciated the smell of books in the public library of Altea. Besides you could also find a nice collection of dvd- good movies- and a good service even if you did not speak Spanish. Norwegians are to be found in the city teaching the Spanish people to speak Norwegian!
Altea is a town and municipality located in the province of Alicante. The ciy is located close to Albir.
Altea is located North of Alicante on the section of Mediterranean cost called Costa Blanca. The ecomony is based on tourists who come to enjoy the good weather, nice beaches and a lot of splendid possibilities to do all kind of sports activities.
It is strange to hear the sound of different European languages. They should learn to speak the local language, I think, because that what we demand of all foreigners who are staying in Norway.
Anyway, pay the library a visit next time you go to Altea just to smell Spanish books and teaching yourself some words more  than just: Dos cervezas, por favor.
Biblioteca Altea is located in Casa de Cultura. For reading, the library recommends the reading of "El
Amante Japones" written by Isabel Allende. For viewing of movies: " Cincuenta sombras de Grey"is recommended - but you find Spanish movies too and a lot of Spanish literature.
