Historical sites are interested objects for studies by travelling people like me. I appreciate walking on grounds where people have lived, worked and fought many centuries ago. Some of the old castles and fortresses have set up old cannons to tell you about the past of the site. Being interested in old military equipments as tools to be used in film documentaries, I have made a habit of taking photos of cannons and other old military materials for my private photo collection of photos of historical sites worldwide. To my surprise ,I also see that old cannons are an object for private collectors. Cannons are objects for private investments. The invention of the cannon was first developed in China. The first cannons in Europe were used in Iberia about the mid-13th century. A cannon is any piece of artillery that uses gunpowder according to the defintion of cannon published in Wikipedia - the free encyclopedia.
